Before you arrive

What to have with you

Photo ID and insurance card

Bring the card itself if you have one. We will verify benefits before the visit when you give us the details in advance.

Your medication list

Including supplements. It matters for anesthetic choice and for healing.

Previous X-rays, if recent

If another office took films in the last year, ask them to send them over and we may not need to repeat them.

Forms, done in advance

Complete patient forms online beforehand and the first visit starts about fifteen minutes sooner.

What happens next

You get a confirmation

Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment. The front desk calls or emails you to confirm the date and time — usually the same business day, and the next business day for requests left overnight or by voicemail.

A first visit runs about an hour

Records and X-rays as needed, a full examination with Dr. Gill, a discussion of what we found, and — where the situation allows — cleaning at the same appointment. If treatment is needed, you leave with a written plan and cost estimate, not a surprise.

Payment and coverage

We accept PPO dental insurance, Medi-Cal Dental (Denti-Cal), cash, and cards. Without insurance, the Premier Club bundles preventive visits at $32 per month per person. See Insurance & Premier Club for the detail.

Changing or cancelling

Life happens — call as early as you can and we will move the appointment. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so the time can go to someone waiting. Appointments canceled inside 24 hours, or missed without notice, carry a $75 fee.

In pain, swollen, or a tooth knocked out?

Call the office rather than booking online — we keep room in the schedule for urgent problems. For facial swelling affecting your breathing or vision, uncontrolled bleeding, or trauma with a suspected fracture, go to the emergency room or call 911.
